One great question by an inquirer wondered about people who did not have an extravagant testimony or miraculous story to share. What about the stories that are NOT uncommon? I explained how the term un/common was relative to the speaker and listener. For example, we can assume that waking up in the morning is very common for most people. So in other words, “no big deal.” However, it depends on who you ask. Some people avoid sleep for fear of not waking due to physical, mental or other conditions. Sadly, there are people who went to sleep and never woke. Others may need a breathing device… I could continue to list other scenarios. But what I’ve learned here is that what I may deem as common in regards to what God has allowed (or disallowed) in my life may not be so common for someone else. And this someone-else can be in closer proximity than I realize.
God is good (period). This is a reminder for me to not degrade what God has done for me and to not allow my assumptions and comparison to others undervalue what is precious within me.
<3 Staying grateful. What I assume as common, is actually great.
